Dr. Bosler and His Humanitarian Team
Headed to Nuevo Casas Grandes, Mexico

Dr. Bosler and his daughter Kaitlin joined a group of four dentists and eight support personnel that made up their humanitarian team. They were headed for Nuevo Casas Grandes , a small Mexican town about 100 miles south of the border, to provide dental services at a school for handicapped children. In their bags were dental instruments and boxes of local anesthetics labeled, ”lidocaine”, “septocaine”, and “carbocaine”…. words that sound all too similar to “cocaine”. "Any machine gun toting border guard who was not familiar with dental anesthetics, could easily complicate our lives in a real hurry," said Dr. Bosler.

Contra Costa- Solano County Food Bank FOOD DRIVE:

We are currently accepting donations of non-perishable food items for the local food bank. Many local families are in need of food assistance. The food bank needs donations of Protein (peanut butter, hearty soups, canned beans and canned tuna) Fruits and Veggies (canned fruit juice, canned tomato products, canned vegetables) and Grains (enriched rice/pasta, iron enriched cereal, whole grain cereal). Please help hungry families and donate!
